Coming from many years at an agency, I understand the challenges behind staffing for specialized skill sets, such as technical SEO. Let me fill in the gaps by providing customized, discounted services that are easy to whitelabel and mark up, if you choose.
My SEO retainer package for agencies, which is my most popular SEO package, has three primary services: regular maintenance, monitoring, and support, monthly reporting, and an annual Deep Dive.
My agency SEO retainers typically start with benchmarking keyword ranking, followed by a period of technical and content analysis. Once this period is complete, a recommendations deliverable is created that documents short-term and long-term strategies. Some of these strategies require working with your content team and/or developers, which I participate in at the level that is comfortable for you.
For new website builds, I instead start with keyphrase research that produces a list of 50-100 keywords to prioritize and, based on approval of that, a spreadsheet of metadata and on-page elements for up to 50 priority pages. I also create a technical requirements document and customized checklist for website designers/developers to ensure the website meets best practice technical SEO standards.
Prior to launch, I'll complete a review of the website, and provide a list of any final adjustments that need to be made. A similar review and set of scans are also completed in the days after launch to ensure everything required made it to the production server.
With 14 years of paid search and digital advertising experience, I've seen what works and what doesn't and know how to get measurable results in Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other networks.
My advertising engagements always start with a period of deep account analysis (if existing accounts exists), keyphrase and competitive analysis, followed by recommendation deliverables and a media plan. From there, we move into a period of implementing the media plan and watching the accounts closely. At this point, we move into optimization and reporting.
Whether for SEO or paid search (or both), an audit deliverable is a wonderful way to deliver immediate value to a new client while the agency works on building new strategies and creative assets.
My paid search audits cover both Google Ads and Microsoft Ads and culminate in a final presented report with prioritized recommendations, quick wins, and long-term goals. I also provide an estimate of hours to implement the recommendations.
SEO Audits include a 90-point technical SEO review, along with a detailed analysis of on-page, off-page, and content strategies. Alongside the audit, I provide a spreadsheet of keyphrase priorities based on various data points such as difficulty, search volume, and user intent. I present the report in a 1-2 hour session that covers everything from discoverabilty to rankability.
